About Us .

Eric grew up in Clarion County, PA and was active in 4-H on the county, state, and national levels.  He began raising rabbits at the age

of 11 when he got his first New Zealand from his cousins.  Eric primarily raised Holland Lops, Brittania Petites, English Lops, and

English Spots while in youth.  In open he raised English Spots, Jersey Woolys, Champagne D'Argents, German/French Angoras,

and most recently Mini Rex.  He moved to eastern PA in 1993 to attend Delaware Valley College where he majored in Laboratory

Animal Science and Conservation.  Eric received his ARBA registrar's license in 1993 and became a judge in 1995.  He is planning to take

his cavy judge's exam this summer.

Eric moved back to Clarion County in 1999 and continued his education in rehab sciences.  He is currently employed as an addictions

therapist and workswith adjudicated adolescent males.  Eric enjoys learning more about sustainable agriculture and developing practical

organic applications for use on the farm.  For 2008 we plan are expanding the organic plots and continuing with our use of 'no till' technique.

We also plan to use experiment with 'beneficials', natural pesticides/herbicides.

Michael grew up in southern Clarion County, but spent his later teen years in Butler PA.  Even though spent his formative years

on his family's farm, they moved to the city when he went to high school.  Michael continued his education after high school to pursue

certification as a medical coder.  He has worked in a number of capacities for hospitals as a coder and auditor.  Michael is currently

employed as a travelling coder/auditor.  He is also currently pursuing his Bachelor's Degree in Holistic Medicine from Everglades

University.  Michael first joined the ARBA in 2004 and enjoys showing the mini rex, especially the castors.  He expressed an

interest in the BEW's after seeing Jan's presentation at the convention in Providence, RI.  Michael has decided to let the BEW's

go.  We are now going to do some work with developing mini rex with the 'chin' series of genes.

This is regular attire for Eric, but now Michael has his own set of bibs and boots.

Angora Goats are back!  As things slow down some, I'll be putting up the goat page.  I'm

almost done with shearing so we can start breeding at the end of the month.
